Bernhard Spoettel discovered photography at the age of 14. After school and an apprenticeship, he started as an assistant and became a self-employed photographer at 23. From the very first hour, he was fascinated by the possibilities of digital photography. His affinity for technical innovations is also expressed in his desire for precision, especially when dealing with "fast" models, such as athletes or automobiles. Living in Pfronten, with a studio in Füssen, the Allgäu native is also just as passionate about the opposite: the slowness of nature, the spectacular panorama, the sensitive portrait, or quite classically in the b/w lab.
For some years now, he has been working with moving images and opening up the boundaries of style.
