Virgile Simon Bertrand (1972) studied Applied Arts at Ecole Boulle (Paris) and photography at Ecole Nationale de la Photographie (Arles).

The main preoccupations for both his personal projects and commercial assignments are structure, scale, light, and space. The portraits, landscape, and architecture of his personal projects focus upon the interdependency of the individual, space, and scale within the built environment.

He currently lives in Hong Kong and is exclusively represented by Alphaville Limited for commercial assignments.
