Covid-19 has been a seismic shift for our planet confining most to the boundaries of their neighborhood. This quarantine has been the catalyst for me, using my skills as a commercial photographer, to reach out to the community that surrounds me. 19 Stories is the result of this outreach. The project turned an otherwise isolating global development into a way for us to connect and opened an avenue of support through a new way of seeing each other, safely socially distanced, in our private environments. It has been a community building and uplifting experience and I feel honored and humbled to have been welcomed into the lives of every person I have encountered, both new and familiar faces. Take a look and meet some of the people who are tackling the difficulties this pandemic has foisted upon us all, and how they are triumphing in the face of it with resilience, optimism, kindness, and in the spirit of extended family.
