September 2014
For a long time, the Photokina in Cologne was the biennial highlight of the photo industry. The "Kina" had a lighthouse function, and every manufacturer who stood out from the crowd unveiled the latest products before or during this exhibition. ALPA worked hard and timed its new product launches for this date, too. But ALPA products do not have built-in obsolescence. It was, therefore, of utmost importance to celebrate the diversity of the medium format photographic platform. And so, the idea of the family gallery was born. Every two years, ALPA produced a contemporary snapshot with the ALPA cameras in focus. Zeitgeist at its best. ALPA mostly created these portraits closely together with Scanderbeg Sauer. Here our edition 2014 family portraits of ALPA cameras.
