Actual Lens Range ALPA
Currently, all our medium format lenses are manufactured by Qioptiq/Rodenstock. Historically, ALPA lenses have also been manufactured by Schneider Kreuznach and Carl Zeiss. The current lens series carries the brand names ALPAGON, ALPAR, and Macro SWITAR. Together with the typical "gold ring", they guarantee the ALPA quality. Lenses manufactured by Schneider Kreuznach were mainly branded HELVETAR. The ALPA Apo-SWITAR 5.6/36 mm was a Schneider lens, too. As a reminiscence to the famous Macro Switar lenses from Kern Aarau for 35mm cameras, we now carry a Macro SWITAR (Rodenstock) and the Cine SWITARE for moving image. Super Wide: The HR ALPAGON 23mm is the ideal extreme wide-angle lens, especially for spectacular landscapes and narrow interior spaces.
Super Wide: With its image circle of 90 mm this lens reaches - when stitched - the angle of view of the HR 23.

An all-round lens. The HR ALPAGON 50mm is the shortest focal length in the ALPA universe, which is available as a so-called SB-34 lens with a "shortened" tube. This design allows a maximum of (creative) options (such as the combination of tilt and swing) and possible applications.
Kind of a "normal" lens but definitively not ordinary. Use it single-shot as a rock-solid standard angle lens with plenty of image circle for shifting. Or use this image circle for stitching and get new perspectives.
The perfect sharpness of the 90s makes it the perfect choice for all photographers, whose pictures have to function perfectly, as different sizes on exhibitions or billboards. If you are looking for perfect details and maximum resolution, there is no way around the HR ALPAGON 90mm. As a SB 34 lens there are always possibilities to combine it with tilt or as the ultimative lens for a combination with the FPS as shutter and any shift ALPA for movements in combination.
This lens offers almost unlimited resolution and, thanks to the automatically adjusted floating element, can convince with its consistently high imaging performance and uniformity.
Scope of delivery: The multifunctional adapter SB 51 and a sun shade are included.
When you need to gap some distance or compress it. This lens is often used in landscape, alpine photography and for architectural details. The newest version comes in SB 51, which reduces the size of the lens per se in your photo bag. Plus the 51 mm can be used for complementary tilt adapters.
