The ALPA GON is a modular tripod head, consisting of the ALPA GON Module, the Pano Plate Module and the compact UNIQ/C dove tail tripod mount. The ALPA GON is as kit available (2 GON Modules, Pano Module and tripod mount). All modules can also be bought separately or in addition to existing equioment.
The ALPA GON is a modular tripod head; complete version for third party tripod consisting of: two ALPA GON goniometer modules, one ALPA Pano Plate module and one flat dove tail mount. The goniometer modules offer a deviation +/- 15°, with self-locking fine adjustment.
With the new modular GON, ALPA opens new perspectives to photographers. Camera setting is now more precise and easier than ever. The new ALPA GON can also be combined individually and set up as needed. Following the unified UniQ/C standard with dove tail interface it can be used with any camera, not only an ALPA. Due to its clever clamping, users can switch easily and safely between the various third-party providers and their adapter plates, L brackets et al. Together with a leveling base and carbon fiber legs, ALPA GON modules can also be assembled into a full-fledged tripod.
