Qian Jin was born in 1960 in Zhejiang, China, and currently lives in Beijing. He started painting when he was a child. Qian Jin studied "Art and Design" and later worked as a designer, magazine editor, and commercial photographer. In 2015, he changed his focus to fine art photography, specialized in black and white.

He has completed a series of works, "Dynasty in Stone Series," "Utopia Series,"  "Buddha Series," "Home Series," "Taihu Stone Series," "Blue and White Porcelain Series," and more.

The "Dynasty in Stone" Series was exhibited at FOTOFEST International Discoveries VI, 2017.
