Yan Bighetti de Flogny’s personal journey and career have made him a true explorer. He has collaborated with SIPA Press, as well as with international organizations such as UNICEF and Médecins Sans Frontières, with a permanent will to highlight the daily lives of unknown communities.
For a while, he reoriented his career to immerse himself in the corporate photography industry, what allowed him to acquire high-level technical skills through the use of state-of-the-art equipment. Yan Bighetti de Flogny’s inspiration emerged from his discovery of Ibn Battuta’s life and journey. Through the path followed by the Moroccan traveler, Yan wishes to juxtapose what was witnessed in the 14th century with the way people live today. The scope of the project will allow Yan to travel to most of the places that Ibn Battuta went to. He will use his expertise in photography to provide his audience with a qualitative and artistic representation of their evolution.
