Fragments and Zeitgeist - Flashback to 2004: Restored artifacts when analog photography was the rule and not the exception.
Florian Holzherr documented the work of James Turrell and other artists early on. The picture galleries "Architecture Art I - III" show insights into these works. Of course, pictures of the "Roden Craters" must not be missing.
At that time, everyone feared the theft of their photography on the internet, not entirely without reason. For this reason, the size of the images shown online was very restrained but no less exciting.
We met Florian at the beginning of 2004 when he was documenting James Turrell's light installation at Zug station / Switzerland. And we remember with pleasure a meeting with Florian, James and his Munich art agent on the occasion of a construction site visit for the light installation at the new headquarters of FIFA in Zurich. Our extended lunch for six took some time, and the star architect had to wait until the Grappa was served...
Images from "Roden Crater" as well as an installation of a private Swiss Art Collector.
