Fuji GFX in combination with ALPA cameras

Fuji's GFX series has gained acclaim for its medium format mirrorless cameras, delivering exceptional image quality and performance. The larger sensor size of medium format cameras allows for greater detail, wider dynamic range, and superb low-light performance. The GFX series is renowned for its stunning color reproduction, making it a preferred choice for many photographers.

The advantage of combining Fuji GFX bodies with ALPA

Optical Excellence

ALPA has a legacy of collaborating with renowned lens manufacturers. Pairing a Fuji GFX camera with ALPA's lineup of exceptional lenses ensures that photographers have access to optics that deliver uncompromising image quality and sharpness.

Unparralleled Build Quality

ALPA camera bodies are crafted from the finest materials, ensuring robustness and longevity. Combining this with the technological prowess of Fuji GFX cameras creates a tool that not only delivers stunning imagery but also withstands the rigors of professional use.

Precision Control

ALPA's commitment to precision extends to its intuitive controls. Photographers can expect tactile and accurate adjustments to settings such as focus, aperture, and shutter speed. This level of control enhances the photographer's ability to capture the desired image with precision and finesse.

Elevated Aesthetics

Beyond technical advantages, the combination of Fuji GFX and ALPA creates a visually striking tool. The modern aesthetics of Fuji's GFX series seamlessly merge with ALPA's timeless design, resulting in a camera system that not only performs exceptionally but also looks and feels like a work of art.

Fuji GFX Configurations

Mounting a Fuji GFX camera to an ALPA system opens up new possibilities but as the Fuji is not designed like a digital back but as a mirrorless camera this combination comes with certain limitations that users should be aware of.

Electronic Communication

ALPA systems and Fuji GFX cameras do not have native electronic communication compatibility. This means that features such as autofocus, aperture control, and image stabilization do not work.. Users need to rely on manual focus and exposure adjustments.

Flange Distance and design limitations

The flange distance, which is the distance from the lens mount to the image sensor, differs between the Fuji GFX and ALPA systems. As the Fuji GFX system is designed as mirrorless camera system it leads to the fact, that the camera body cannot be mounted on all ALPA cameras as the handle of the Fuji camera can collide with the rear of the ALPA camera body.

Lens Compatibilty

Due to above mentioned design limitations not all lenses of the ALPA lens range can be used with Fuji GFX camera bodies.
In combination with moveable ALPA camera bodies like ALPA 12 STC, ALPA 12 PLUS, ALPA 12 MAX and ALPA 12 Pano camera movements are possible.
